Ceramic Coating
Ceramic Coating
Our objective is to offer the absolute best ceramic coating price/quality combination possible.
Ceramic coating is a type of protective coating that can be applied to the exterior of a vehicle to provide a number of benefits.
One of the main benefits of ceramic coatings is that they provide an extremely durable and long-lasting layer of protection for the paint on a car. Unlike traditional waxes or sealants, which need to be reapplied every few months. Ceramic coatings can last for several years before they need to be reapplied. This means that they can provide long-term protection against things like: bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, and road salt. These can all cause damage to a car’s paint over time.
Lonadier’s Mobile Detailing offers three options:
- Basic two year protection – One year warranty
- Three year protection – Three year product (Glassparency) warranty
- Five year protection – Five year product (Glassparency) warranty
Additional Ceramic Benefits:
Improves the appearance of a car’s paint. Create a high-gloss finish that can enhance the color and shine of the paint, making it look like new again. In addition, because ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic they help to repel water. This significantly reduces the risk of water spots appearing on the car’s paint.
These coatings also provide UV protection, which can help to prevent the paint from fading over time. This is particularly important for cars that are frequently parked outside or driven in areas with a lot of sun exposure.
Ceramic coatings can make it easier to clean your car, because these coatings create a barrier that repels dirt, grime, and other contaminants. This makes it is much easier to remove these substances from the car’s paint when you wash it.
Finally, ceramic coatings can also provide added protection against scratches, chips, and other types of paint damage. These coatings create an extra layer of protection that can help to absorb some of the impact from road debris, making it less likely that these types of damage will occur.
Overall, ceramic coatings are a great option for anyone looking to protect their car’s paint and maintain its appearance over time. They provide long-lasting protection, improve the appearance of the paint, provide UV protection and hydrophobic properties and make cleaning easy.
Ceramic Preperation
Properly preparing the surface before applying the protective ceramic coating finish is critical.
This three stage process ensures the ceramic properly bonds to the clear coat, and that the vehicle will look its best since the ceramic coating locks in whatever the clear coat condition is.

Wash including iron removal
A thorough wash is the first step to properly prep the surface for ceramic application. This includes removing all bugs, tar, and sap.
In addition, iron remover is applied to remove imbedded iron from brake dust filings.

Clay bar
Clay barring the vehicle is the second step to properly prep the surface for ceramic application.
Clay barring removes the remaining contamination for the clear coat.

Buffing
Buffing is the final step to properly prepare the surface for ceramic application.
The condition of the clear coat determines id a quick buff, or full buff is needed.

Applying ceramic
After properly preparing the surface for ceramic coating, the last step is properly apply the ceramic.
